We've had a crazy spring and summer so far. Dylan and mommy have been at home, having fun each day. Going swimming, playing at the park, or just building Lego's with his friends.

Drumming pays the bills
We went to a school event tonight where they had a bunch of rooms set up with activities for the kids. Art, music, crazy old guys who make stuff out of scrap metal. The whole shebang. In one room, Dylan had the opportunity to learn how to play the drums. He wasn't too enthralled with it. He really wanted to play a drum set. He likes the drum set.

Trip Home
It's been a bit since we got back from our trip back home. We really missed it. I really missed it, Na really missed, Dylan and Ralphie too. We hope to move back, whether that is Seattle, or just somewhere in the greater NW. Heck, anywhere within a 16 hour drive would be fine with me.
Dylan went skiing for the the first time, he liked it. We liked it. Hope you like it too. He also got to hang out with Emma, and have a great sleep over with her too. Don't tell!
We miss our friends, and we wish we could come back for good.

Crazy weather
You've probably heard, but we have some crazy weather here in Champaign. Everything is closed today and for good reason. The snow is deep and the drifts are deeper. I had to dig out a trench for Ralphie to go poop. It's maddening. 
But we press on. I'm trying to get Dylan to leave the house with us today and go sledding. The weather is cold, it's about 15 out, but hey, we need to get out of the house at least once. I had to also dig a trench to get the truck out of our garage, since they plow the streets and there big piles between the driveway and the streets. 
Dylan is also getting his own twin bed. A big boy bed. He loves it, and Ralphie loves it even more. They sleep togtehr every night and the old bed was getting too small for Ralph to fit.
